Custom dentures at Allstate Dental Newark

Modern dentures look amazing

If you remember your grandparents' dentures — bulky, fake-looking, and always slipping — you've been missing out. Today's dentures are custom-designed for your face, your bite, and your personality. They look like real teeth. And with implant support, they don't move at all.

Your options at Allstate Dental

  • Conventional full denture — replaces all teeth in one arch (upper, lower, or both). Placed after any remaining teeth are extracted and the gums heal (typically 8–12 weeks).
  • Immediate denture — placed the same day your remaining teeth are extracted. You never go without teeth. After healing, a reline is usually needed.
  • Partial denture — replaces several missing teeth while keeping your natural ones. Clasps onto adjacent teeth for support.
  • Implant-supported denture (snap-in) — a removable denture that snaps onto 2–4 dental implants. No adhesive. No slipping. Much smaller and more comfortable.
  • All-on-4 fixed denture — a full row of non-removable teeth attached to 4–6 implants. The most natural-feeling full-tooth replacement option.

What to expect

Consultation (30 min, free): Dr. Luba examines your mouth, discusses your options, and gives you an exact cost for each.

Impressions & measurements (3–4 visits): We take detailed impressions, bite records, and try-in stages so your denture fits precisely and looks natural.

Delivery day (45 min): Your finished denture is placed, the bite is adjusted, and Dr. Luba walks you through care, eating, and speaking with your new teeth.

Follow-ups (1 week, 1 month, 6 months): We fine-tune the fit and address any sore spots. Most patients need 1–2 small adjustments in the first month.

Adjusting to your new dentures

  • Expect some soreness and increased saliva for the first week or two — that's normal
  • Start with soft foods and gradually return to your normal diet
  • Speaking may feel funny at first — practice reading aloud for a few days
  • Use a denture adhesive at first if it helps with confidence (you'll likely need less over time)
  • Remove dentures at night to let your gums rest
