The gold standard for missing teeth
A dental implant is a small titanium post that replaces the root of a missing tooth. A custom crown is attached on top — and the result looks, feels, and chews just like a natural tooth. Unlike a bridge, an implant doesn't affect neighboring teeth. Unlike a denture, it doesn't slip, click, or come out at night.
Your implant options
- Single-tooth implant — replace one missing tooth with a single implant and crown. Most common option.
- Implant bridge — replace 2–3 adjacent missing teeth with two implants supporting a custom bridge.
- Implant-supported denture — a snap-in denture that locks onto 2–4 implants. No more adhesive. No more slipping.
- All-on-4 / full-arch implants — a full row of fixed teeth supported by just 4–6 implants. Life-changing for people with failing dentures.
What to expect
Free consultation (30 min): Dr. Luba reviews your history, takes a quick look, and discusses whether implants are right for you. She'll outline your options, timeline, and exact cost — no pressure.
Records visit (45 min): A 3D cone-beam CT scan of your jaw, impressions, and photos. We use these to plan the exact position of your implant down to the millimeter.
Implant placement (60 min): The titanium post is placed in your jaw under local anesthetic (you can add oral sedation if you'd like). Most patients say it's easier than having a tooth extracted.
Healing (3–6 months): The implant fuses with your jawbone (osseointegration). You'll have a temporary crown or healing cap during this time so you never have a gap.
Final crown (45 min): Your custom-made permanent crown is attached to the implant. You'll chew normally the same day.
Lasts a lifetime
The implant post can last 30+ years. The crown typically 15+.
Preserves bone
Unlike a bridge, an implant stimulates the jawbone and prevents bone loss.
Eat anything
No restrictions — corn on the cob, steak, apples, all back on the menu.
Protects other teeth
No need to grind down healthy neighboring teeth like with a bridge.
Cost & insurance
Many PPO plans cover a portion of the crown (not the implant post) at 50% after deductible. Our fee for a single-tooth implant, start to finish, is $3,495–$4,295. Full-arch solutions start at $14,995 per arch. We offer 0% CareCredit financing for qualified applicants — most patients spread the cost over 12–24 months interest-free.
